
Bill joined Mount Green as the Chief Executive in December 2019. He was previously Managing Director of Wokingham Borough Council’s local housing companies, which included Loddon Homes, a For-Profit Registered Provider (FPRP). Prior to this, Bill headed up Grainger plc’s FPRP, where he led Grainger’s first moves into affordable housing. His career has also included working for the Audit Commission’s Housing Inspectorate. Working for the Audit Commission shaped much of Bill’s thinking and belief about how social housing should operate. This, when combined with starting his career in housing as a Homelessness Officer back in 1991, drives much of his approach in leading Mount Green to provide the best homes and services possible for residents.

Pedro joined Mount Green as the Interim Finance Director in October 2023. Pedro looks after the finance function and supports Bill and Jesse to ensure Mount Green has a strong financial base to deliver its services to residents.
Pedro is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with significant experience in social housing having worked as a finance stakeholder for a number of housing associations supplemented by experiences working in private sector organisations engaged in meeting housing need across different tenures.
Away from Mount Green Pedro spends his time walking his dog (a miniature schnauzer called Reggie) and following the ups and downs (mainly downs) of Mansfield Town FC.

Clare joined Mount Green in June 2021 and is responsible for Mount Green’s marketing and communications, people and culture and governance functions. Clare is a values-based leader with 24 years’ experience supporting people across the public and third sectors. Prior to joining Mount Green, Clare was Director of Development and Innovation at a national social justice and harm reduction charity. She is a highly skilled strategist who heads up the Corporate Services team to achieve a clear brand and aligned resident experience, effective communications, and strong governance. Clare brings her passion for supporting and celebrating the talents and strengths of people and working to ensure everyone’s experience is a great one within an inclusive workplace.

Holly joined Mount Green in September 2020 and has responsibility for new build developments and growth opportunities. Holly has over 11 years’ experience working in housing. She is also a part of the Chartered Institute of Housing’s (CIH) South East Board who strive to promote the professionalism of housing and facilitate networking opportunities in the region. Holly has been recognised as CIH’s Rising Star in 2018 and is a named Housing Champion by Housing Today in 2022.

Ben joined Mount Green in April 2022 and has responsibility for Digital Transformation. Ben has predominantly worked in the social housing sector within IT and Digital roles. He brings experience of developing, managing and delivering technology projects, including digital transformation programmes across the last four years that improved staff and customer experiences through the enhancement of systems and software. Ben has always had a passion for social housing and believes strongly in delivering a great customer experience through the use of efficient and effective services and technologies.

Hannah Hu joined Mount Green in March 2019 and is responsible for the finance function, including income, expenses and assets and liabilities. Being a Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Hannah brings strong technical accounting knowledge and skills and experience in financial and management accounting. Hannah is team-focussed and is passionate about learning and development having worked hard to move up within Mount Green to support her core social housing values.

Sarah Crabb joined Mount Green in March 2015 and is responsible for housing services, including customer experience, housing and tenancy management and the independent living support service. Sarah brings extensive experience across many of these areas having worked her way up within Mount Green – joining as a Neighbourhood Officer and then as an Independent Living Service Manager. Sarah is passionate about ensuring residents are at the heart of what we do and the decisions we make.

Board Chair and Committee Member on the People and Remuneration Committee
David has worked in housing throughout his career and has experience from across the entire sector. This includes working for organisations in residential sales and lettings, local authority housing, housing associations and the ‘for-profit’ registered provider sector. He is an accredited chartered surveyor, a member of the Royal Society of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and experienced non-executive director.
As a champion of resident interests, he has worked throughout his career to involve residents in the development of operational services and governance. David is keen to ensure the Board’s thinking reflects the communities Mount Green serve and puts residents’ interests at the heart of all decisions the Board make.

Vice Board Chair, Chair of Audit and Risk Committee and Committee Member on the Development and Assets Committee
Peter is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and until very recently the Resources Director and Deputy CEO at Ability Housing. He has a wide range of experience in Housing, Construction and other sectors, working for almost 40 years in the UK, Europe and the US; including strong Board experience, having previously been Chair of Thrive Homes and working as Director of Financial Services at Southern Housing Group.
As a finance professional in social housing since 2002, Peter brings extensive housing finance experience and expertise in long-term business planning and financial modelling, including development and investment appraisal. He also brings senior and strategic management experience gained in a number of Director roles across a variety of social housing organisations. This experience adds value to the Development and Acquisitions Committee through Peter’s direct involvement in heading up the development finance team for a major housing association and a number of development-led financial modelling.

David retired from Legal & General Investment Management, the largest fund management group in the UK, in 2016 having spent 35 years as an equity and credit analyst. He analysed a large number of sectors including the Housing Association sector. David was a member of LGIM’s credit committee and, following his retirement, was a member of MORhomes’ credit committee.
As an investment professional, David brings strong financial analysis and strategic thinking to the Board and to the Audit and Risk Committee, including a wide knowledge of Treasury policies, funding options and financial covenants. This expertise extends to the Development and Acquisitions Committee through in-depth assessment of financial risk and investment returns. Moreover, David is passionate about the fundamental role housing associations have in relation to solving the housing crisis in the UK.

Agnieszka is a qualified architect (Architects Registration Board) and in that role has experience working with the construction industry. She has long appreciated the value the social housing sector brings and along with being a Mount Green resident wanted to bring her insight and expertise to the Board and Development and Acquisitions Committee, when the opportunity arose.
Agnieszka is able and keen to influence decisions with the best interest of residents in mind and is delighted to be part of the Resident Committee Group. With that in mind, she plays an important part in linking the Resident Committee Group with the Board.

Board Member and Committee Member on the Audit and Risk Committee and People and Remuneration Committee
Kel qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and then as an attorney in the State of California. He worked in City of London private practice before heading up the Legal Departments of BUPA International and then Canada Life in the UK. He now sits as a Fee-paid Judge in several chambers of the First-tier Tribunal.
Kel brings strong legal credentials including experience of mergers and acquisitions as well as broad regulatory and governance experience which supports the work of the Audit and Risk Committee. Having grown up in a steel-making town in North Wales, he fully understands the importance of social housing.

An experienced communication and marketing professional, Lisa has worked in the housing sector for over 20 years. Lisa previously worked for smaller specialised housing associations and is currently Director of Communications for a 77,000 housing provider, Southern Housing. She is Chair of the National Housing Federation London Communications Network.
Lisa believes in accessible, relevant and informative communications for all residents. She has won several awards for resident focussed publications and the development of interactive digital communication channels. Having grown up in rental accommodation in Birmingham, she understands that safe secure homes can create strong communities which can have a positive impact on people’s lives.

Board Member (Resident), Committee Member on Audit and Risk Committee and sits on the Resident Committee Group
Jill’s professional experience spans 30 years working internationally in several roles including as a programme director, legal counsellor, therapist, expert witness, social worker, consultant, police trainer, and systems auditor. Across these roles, Jill specialised in domestic, family and sexual violence and has extensive knowledge in these areas.
Jill has also acted as an advisor and trainer for the UK Judicial studies board, and as an advisor for the Home Office, Government Office for London, London Mayor’s Office and the Association of London Governments.
Jill currently works as Head of Fundraising and Development for a London housing association. She is still involved in the work of various international charitable organisations and has been awarded honorary lifetime board membership for several organisations in America in recognition of her contribution to work in the fields of domestic violence and violence against women and girls, and the improvement of conditions and rights of women in prison.

Board Member, Chair of People and Remuneration Committee
Becky is HR Director and qualified Occupational Psychologist who has led teams and businesses across the Retail, Construction and Technology Sectors for the last 15 years.
Always passionate and focused on the customer, Becky has orchestrated large scale organisational changes that adapt to commercial, regulatory and technological changes to create better products and services. Contributing to the broad Business decisions and plans, and delivering the people strategy to enable these plans, she is always the advocate of the people whose skills and drive deliver these plans, and who are also affected by them.
Becky is passionate about creating spaces that everyone in society can call home with a sense of pride, safety and security, and this has led her to support the Housing Sector. Her ‘out of sector’ experiences and the parallels that can be drawn when navigating change and supporting people has brought her to Mount Green’s Board.

Board Member, Chair of Development and Assets Committee and Committee Member on the Audit and Risk Committee
Justin is a highly experienced Property Director, with a degree in business, marketing and education. He has worked in the social housing sector for more than 25 years and held roles in local authority, ALMOs and housing associations. He has extensive experience of development, asset, audit and risk and customer focused committees within these roles.
He also specialises in property compliance, strategic asset management, repairs and maintenance and large scale direct labour organisations. Key achievements include delivering large scale stock swaps and acquisitions, IT and business transformation projects and retrofit "green" initiatives.
Justin is driven to ensure customers feel safe in their homes, receive excellent services and that Mount Green's resources are maximised to deliver the very best outcomes.

Board Member, Committee Member on the Development and Assets Committee and People and Remuneration Committee.
Verena has spent her career in the social housing sector, leading on all aspects of frontline customer, housing and property services. Joining Selwood Housing in 2003, Verena has taken her technical background in business performance and change management into a leadership role and has held an executive position since 2014.
She is experienced in strategic business planning and is an experienced change architect, leading teams through strategic, cultural, regulatory, operational and technical change. Her experience also includes project management, large scale voluntary transfer, right to buy, development and regeneration and private consultancy.
Verena has lived experience, having grown up in social housing and brings a strong commitment to resident involvement, scrutiny and co-development. Verena is also Chair of a small charity, Trowbridge Futures.
Resident Committee Group (RCG) represents Mount Green’s residents through scrutinising and reviewing Mount Green operations. The Group support Mount Green Board in its responsibilities for scrutinising and reviewing policy, performance, overall delivery of operational services to residents and the safety of residents’ homes.

I work part time for the NHS as I am preparing for full retirement. I enjoy exploring new opportunities and like to contribute to my local community.
My personal working history includes management positions in different industries, working for Boots The Chemist for 25 years , Consulting for a well know Children’s Charity and owning my own business whilst living in Spain for 10 years.
My downtime is spent on home improvement, cycling, yoga, good food and getting to know people.
I am currently involved with the local amateur dramatic group and always open to new experiences
I live with my partner of 20 years and lead a very full life but my aim in life is to help others by being approachable and empathetic.

I have been a resident of Beecholme, Banstead for two years.
My work history is 28 years of stage management, eight years of maintenance and housekeeping management at a local care home. Currently, I work full time as a caretaker at Sutton College for adult education.
I enjoy theatre, cinema and walking.
Becoming involved in the residents committee has helped me understand the issues residents have across Mount Green’s communities and help influence new policies that promote high standards of service for residents.

My name is David Williams, though I prefer “Dave”.
I’ve been with Mount Green for more than twelve years – some ten years as a keyworker at Graham House in Bookham, and now at Hawkridge, in Rudgwick, West Sussex. Hawkridge is an Independent Living Service.
I have multiple disabilities, which make everyday life difficult for me, and this is a key lens through which I view whether MG is truly meeting the needs of its tenants.
I am not as retired as I would like to be, and I continue to work in adult social care to keep the wolf from the door.
I joined the RCG in the hope that I could work with other like-minded people to drive improvement forward.

My name is Sue Kings .I live at Hawkridge an independent living establishment and have been a tenant of Mount Green for the past year.
I have always had a keen interest in the development of services for older people having worked in the service of elder care for approximately 25 years. I am keen to use the skills developed in this area to assist in improving communication and understanding between the tenants and Mount Green.
