Benefits at our workplace
A fixed contribution pension scheme is available to all team members regardless of age or position. Team members contribute 5% (though can contribute more) and Mount Green contributes 10%.
A flexible healthcare package, including a health cash back scheme and an employee assistance programme.
This enables team members (if they choose) to split their time between attending a Mount Green office “workplace” and working from home. It’s doing the right work, in the right place, at the right time – with our residents’ needs central to that. Where, when and how team members work depends on their role and at any point the key tasks at hand.
A variety of training is available for team members at all stages of their career through internal and external training, networking events, conferences, coaching and local government-funded programmes. In addition, we also offer our Career Excellence Model.
We offer a generous annual leave package of either 25 or 28 days (dependent on role). We are closed between Christmas and the New Year which enables all team members to have an additional 3 days off. All team members can buy and sell up to five days annual leave in any one holiday year (April to March).
Our bonus scheme works on an equitable basis across eligible team members and not as a percentage of salary. Dependent on performance relating to core work and objectives, a team member achieves a certain bonus level, which then equates to a bonus payment.
We have a range of family friendly policies to support team members (maternity, paternity, parental leave, adoption leave). A maternity enhanced package is available for anyone with two years or more service as well as a paternity occupational package.
The wellbeing of our team is important to us. We offer opportunities for team members to get active at work through the great work that our social team do as well as the benefits available from the healthcare scheme, including a 24/7 employee assistance line.
